It’s amazing what you learn about yourself as you age. Among many things, I’ve learned that I’m a total “foodie.” I follow more food blogs than I care to admit, love to find new recipes, either on-line, in newspapers, in cookbooks or on coupon clippings. And my kitchen is one of my favorite places in the world. Interesting, considering I could barely boil water when I left for college.
I’m not a culinary expert and I don’t dream up fabulous kitchen creations. But I’m eager to share information about great recipes and food products. That’s exactly the point of Mouth of the South. Here, I will share with you what I’m cooking, where I found the recipe and pass along information about my favorite new products, especially when I stumble onto a great new regional food item.
